Position Summary:
Serve food and beverages to Crow’s Bench guests. Provide an excellent guest experience with menu knowledge, drink knowledge or suggestions, and attentiveness to guests’ needs.
Must have reliable transportation. Must be willing/able to work holidays, weekends, and evenings.
Essential Functions and Major Responsibilities:
- Will provide exceptional food, beer, liquor and wine service to Crow’s Bench guests.
- Will be accountable for having own bank and making change for guests.
- Requires extensive guest interaction.
- Must be punctual.
- Responsible for daily paperwork and reconciliation.
- Must be knowledgeable of and be accountable for enforcement of Idaho State Liquor and identification laws.
- Will provide bottle service throughout service to guests tableside who purchase wine.
- Requires the ability to interact with guests and customers of the resort in a friendly, professional, and accommodating manner every time.
- Will perform opening and closing duties, including polishing and rolling cutlery, vacuuming, polishing glassware, keeping restaurant clean.
- Will work as a team player to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Responsible to keep up on side work while managing tables. Must be capable of managing and exceptionally performing multiple tasks simultaneously while paying attention to detail.
- Responsible to help with hostess/busser duties.
- Must have extensive knowledge of the menu and be able to identify potential allergens and give guests suggestions as needed.
Specific Job Skills:
License/Certifications- Idaho Alcohol Awareness training is required and can be provided upon hire.
Technical- Computer skills needed for use of Point of Sale system.
Physical Capabilities- Able to walk and stand for 8+ hour shifts. May need to lift and carry 25lbs.
Additional- Bar drink and food knowledge
Education/Related Experience:
Minimum education required- English reading, writing and verbal communication.
Minimum time in related position- 6 months F&B experience required, with demonstrated competence; wine knowledge preferred.
