Job Description

Our client is seeking a strategic, detail‑oriented Financial Controller oversee all financial functions of the organization, including planning, risk management, reporting, and audit oversight. Responsibilities include managing the accounting team and coordinating with external partners to ensure accurate financial records across entity structures.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Leadership & Strategy

Financial Planning: Lead forecasting, financial strategy, and capital allocation across multiple entities.

Reporting & Compliance: Ensure the accuracy of all financial statements and guarantee full GAAP and regulatory compliance.

Audit & Tax: Serve as primary lead for internal and external audits; maintain a strong audit trail and coordinate with tax advisors and financial institutions.

Risk Management: Work closely with leadership to evaluate investment risks and real estate development opportunities.

Asset & Investment Analysis

Performance Monitoring: Evaluate investment performance, valuations, and provide consistent, detailed reporting.

Market Research: Conduct market studies, including rent growth assumptions, cap rates, and target market insights.

Qualifications

Experience: 5–7+ years of high‑level accounting experience within a CPA firm, family office, or commercial real estate environment.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred.
