What you’ll do
We are looking for a Finance Officer to join our Payroll Services Team at Bunnings!
This role is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of payroll for all employees, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, awards and company policies.
- Maintain payroll records and ensure data integrity
- Calculate and process leave, overtime and terminations
- Assist with audits and reporting requirements
- Accurate and timely processing of end of month and end of year activities, ensuring that all external and internal departments have accurate and reliable data on time
- Respond to payroll queries from employees and managers, and provide guidance on payroll policies and procedures
Who we’re looking for
Our ideal candidate will have payroll experience and a strong understanding of payroll legislation, awards and enterprise agreements. Additionally, they will have proficiency in Excel and the Microsoft suite.
They will have strong attention to detail, be adaptable to changing work environments and be able to remain calm under pressure. In addition, they will have excellent written and verbal communications skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
- Proficiency in payroll, HR and T&A systems (e.g., iChris, Workday, UKG or similar)
- Confidentiality and discretion with sensitive information
- Adaptability to changing legislation and processes
- Initiative and continuous improvement mindset
- Time management and ability to meet deadlines
