What You’ll Do:
Prepare banquet spaces according to Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), including setup of tables, chairs, linens, and service items
Greet guests warmly and ensure they are comfortably seated and attended to
Serve meals and beverages efficiently and professionally, following service standards and event timelines
Monitor guest satisfaction, refill drinks, and respond to requests with attentiveness and care
Clear and reset tables between courses and after events, maintaining cleanliness and organization
Collaborate with banquet leadership and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and timely execution
Support buffet and beverage station setup and maintenance as needed
Handle guest concerns discreetly and escalate issues when appropriate
Uphold Loews Hotels’ brand standards in every interaction and service moment
Perform additional duties as assigned to support successful event execution
Regular attendance in conformance with standards
May be required to work varying schedules to reflect business needs
Required to attend all mandatory training sessions and meetings
Perform other duties as assigned
Your Qualifications Include:
Two to four years’ experience in a mid-high volume banquet operation within an up-scale, hotel or convention center banquet operation, preferred
High School Diploma, or equivalent
Ability to stand, walk, reach, and lift/pull/push 35 plus pounds regularly throughout the shift
TIPS (or Local/State alcohol training equivalent) Certification required or ability to obtain
Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed
