European University Cyprus is currently seeking to recruit personnel for the position of Administrative Assistant. The successful candidate will provide essential administrative support and contribute to the efficient functioning of the University’s departments.
The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for the effective coordination of daily administrative operations, ensuring high-quality support to students, academic and administrative personnel. The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks within a dynamic academic environment.
Duties & responsibilities
- Interact daily with students, addressing inquiries and providing administrative support
- Handle a variety of administrative tasks and departmental processes
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and regulations
- Provide support and assistance to team members across departments
- Coordinate departmental activities
- Maintain a high standard of quality assurance in administrative services
- Utilize technology and digital tools to organize and manage workflow efficiently
- Perform additional duties as required based on departmental needs

Qualifications and Competencies
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field
- Previous experience in an administrative role will be considered an advantage
- Excellent command of Greek and English (both written and spoken)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Strong organizational skills and business awareness
- Team-oriented mindset with a collaborative approach
