Career Stream Purpose

Lead and scale a high-performing Specialty Care field team to achieve sales, access, and launch objectives across private and public healthcare markets in Mexico. This role drives execution excellence through sales force deployment, capability building, segmentation, account prioritization, and strong cross-functional orchestration with Market Access, Medical, Marketing, and Key Account teams.

The Immunology Sales Manager is also accountable for the guidance, development and coaching of his/her team members to guarantee achieve their objectives aligned to Galderma’s culture and compliance.

  

Level Differentiator

  • 8+ years of experience in pharmaceutical or biotechnology sales with specialty care products
  • 3+ years in people leadership roles (regional, district, or national level)
  • Proven track record launching Specialty Care products in private and public markets
  • Strong understanding and demand generation knowledge in Public market (IMSS, ISSSTE, IMSS Bienestar, CCINSHAE) in Biennale Tender and specific patients’ process
  • Strong knowledge of Private insurance and HMOs treatment approval processes
  • Wholesalers’ management of specialty care brands in Private and Public markets.

  

Career Stream Tasks

  • Lead, hire, onboard, coach, and performance-manage the Specialty Care field sales team
  • Set team and individual targets and drive disciplined KPI management
  • Build a culture of scientific credibility, patient-centricity, and compliance.
  • Achieve sales objective of the territory assigned through the sales reps team
  • Manage the promotional activities and budget of the territory assigned and guide the team to plan, execute and measure results of the implemented activities aligned with the brand strategy
  • Design and optimize territory structure, targeting, call models, and routing
  • Dynamically reallocate resources based on opportunity, access status, and competitive activity
  • Ensure disciplined use of CRM and sales force effectiveness (SFE) tools
  • Build strong relationships with KOLs, centers of excellence, hospital networks, and specialty prescribers
  • Partner with Key Account Managers and Medical Affairs teams on integrated account plans
  • Coordinate strategic account management with direct and cross-functional teams
  • Ensure full compliance with internal policies, industry codes, and payer/institutional regulations.

  

Stakeholders

  • KOLs and HCPs (Dermatologists, Allergists)
  • Communicate and influence cross-functional team to guarantee successful strategy implementation (Market Access, Medical Affairs, Sales, Finance, Legal, and Supply Chain to deliver integrated account strategies)
  • Develop strong, trusting relationships with senior business leaders across Galderma
  • Engagement and negotiations with wholesalers

  • Immunology Sales Reps team
  • Executes on short to mid-term operational plans for optimizing the organization
  • Has budget accountability for own job family / area and/or manage elements of the budget.

  

Education Level

  • Master's / Bachelors Degree / PhD in Specialist areas
