ExxonMobil’s affiliates in India
ExxonMobil’s affiliates have offices in India in Bengaluru, Mumbai and the National Capital Region.
ExxonMobil’s affiliates in India supporting the Product Solutions business engage in the marketing, sales and distribution of performance as well as specialty products across chemicals and lubricants businesses. The India planning teams are also embedded with global business units for business planning and analytics.
ExxonMobil’s LNG affiliate in India supporting the upstream business provides consultant services for other ExxonMobil upstream affiliates and conducts LNG market-development activities.
The Global Business Center - Technology Center provides a range of technical and business support services for ExxonMobil’s operations around the globe.

What will you do
A Product Advisor helps drive product value and long-term success by bringing business, IT, and vendors together and giving guidance on priorities and direction. They support the product owner with shaping the backlog and help the delivery team focus on what matters most and delivers real impact. They help balance keeping things stable with making continuous improvements, encourage better ways of working, and make sure the product grows and adapts with business needs.
The position is located at ExxonMobil’s office in Bengaluru.
For asset forward S&OP the Product is Maestro; Maestro is a global supply chain planning system for Fuels, supporting planning, optimization, and decision-making across the regions.
Capability Development
- Support the Product Owner in clarifying business needs, priorities, and improvement opportunities.
- Act as a liaison between business and technology stakeholders to ensure clear communication of objectives, progress, risks, and dependencies.
- Build and maintain strong understanding of business processes, product capabilities, and analytics use cases to support decision making.
- Help align stakeholders around shared understanding of scope, outcomes, and capability intent.
- Apply domain expertise in Fuels Supply–Demand balancing processes and Maestro platform capabilities.
- Translate Fuels planning and optimization needs into Maestro-relevant capability insights.
Product Delivery & Value Enablement
- Partner with the Product Owner to define, refine, and deliver product capabilities.
- Support solution quality across data accuracy, performance, availability, and usability.
- Gather feedback to identify improvement opportunities and support adoption and value realization.
- Contribute to roadmap development, ensuring alignment with business priorities and long-term goals.
- Support validation of delivered solutions against business requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Align roadmap inputs with Fuels planning cycles and Maestro capability evolution.
- Validate solutions against Supply–Demand balancing use cases and planning requirements.
Backlog, Agile & Cross-Team Support
- Support backlog readiness by refining epics, features, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Provide input to prioritization, balancing business value, strategic alignment, and capacity.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies to ensure clarity, alignment, and informed decision-making.
- Help identify and manage risks, dependencies, and impediments, coordinating across teams where needed.
- Assist in evaluating unplanned requests to protect delivery focus and commitments.
- Incorporate Maestro-specific context (e.g., optimization logic, data pipelines, integration dependencies) into backlog refinement.
About You
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, Analytics, or related field.
- ~5+ years experience in product support, business analysis, or supply chain/analytics roles.
- Experience working in Agile environments with cross-functional teams.
- Proactive mindset with the ability to anticipate issues, identify improvement opportunities, and take initiative independently to drive solutions across products and systems
- Strong collaboration and excellent communication skills.
- Digital mind-set with problem solving skills; Ability to translate business needs into product requirements
- Experience in Supply–Demand balancing, Fuels, or downstream supply chain
- Familiarity with Maestro or similar planning/optimization tools
