
Senior QA lead - Warehouse Domain

We are looking for an experienced QA Lead to drive end-to-end quality assurance activities for enterprise warehouse automation implementations. The candidate will lead QA strategy, test planning, automation initiatives, integration validation, and stakeholder coordination across warehouse management systems, automation equipment, and enterprise applications.
The role requires strong expertise in warehouse automation processes such as inbound, outbound, inventory management, conveyor systems, sortation, ASRS, robotics, handheld devices, and integrations between WMS/WCS/ERP systems.
Key Responsibilities
•
• QA Leadership & Strategy
· Define and implement QA strategy, test governance, and quality standards for warehouse automation programs.
· Lead QA teams across functional, integration, regression, UAT, and automation testing.
· Establish test processes, metrics, defect management, and reporting mechanisms.
· Ensure adherence to SDLC/STLC methodologies and Project methodology practises.
· Act as Domain expertise across the program and projects, supporting team for clarification , review. Working along with Customer as domain expertise to validate and convert the business requirements and value add.
Functional & Integration Testing
· Validate warehouse business flows including:
· Receiving & Putaway
· Picking & Packing
· Replenishment
· Shipping & Dispatch
· Cycle Counting & Inventory Adjustments
· Returns Management
· Perform end-to-end testing across:
· WMS
· WCS
· ERP systems
· PLC/Automation equipment
· RF scanners & handheld devices
· Validate automation workflows involving conveyors, sorters, ASRS, AMRs/AGVs, print-and-apply systems, and dimensioning systems.
Automation & Performance Testing
· Drive test automation initiatives using suitable automation frameworks/tools.
· Coordinate performance, load, and stress testing for high-volume warehouse operations.
· Ensure system stability during peak operational scenarios.
· Defect & Release Management
· Lead defect triage meetings and coordinate issue resolution with cross-functional teams.
· Ensure traceability from requirements to test execution.
· Support release validation, deployment verification, and hypercare activities.

Work Experience
Required Skills
· Strong knowledge of warehouse and supply chain operations.
· Experience with warehouse automation implementations.
· Awareness of Waterfall/Agile/Hybrid.
· Understanding of:
· WMS/WCS architecture
· Material handling systems
· Robotics & conveyor integrations
· RF and barcode systems
Exposure to SQL/database validation.
Knowledge of test management and defect tracking tools.
Desired skills.
Experience with API, middleware, and integration testing.
Exposure to SQL/database validation.
Knowledge of test management and defect tracking tools.
Familiarity with automation tools such as Selenium, Tosca, or similar platforms.
Experience in performance testing tools is an added advantage.
