Job Description:

Shift:  M-F 730 to 4pm.

• Serves as a clinical resource to technologists, students, and other staff. 
• Monitors and supports compliance with departmental policies, safety guidelines, and regulatory standards.
• Provides day-to-day supervision of technologists, support staff, and imaging operations to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care.
• Coordinates daily workflow and staffing assignments, balancing patient volumes, technologist availability, and room utilization.
• Assists with onboarding, orientation, training, and ongoing competency assessment of technologists and new hires.
• Supports leadership in performance management through the talent care process, performance reviews, and providing coaching opportunities for team member development.
• Collaborates with radiologists, leadership, and other departments to facilitate timely and coordinated services.
• Participates in quality improvement initiatives, including image quality audits, repeat analysis, and process improvement projects.
• Ensures proper equipment functionality and coordinates preventative maintenance.
• Participates in scheduling, timekeeping, and supply inventory management to support operational efficiency and budget goals. 
• Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Ability to learn and use Radiology software packages such as IDX, Radworks, Current PACS application. [Required]
• Ability to learn and use basic supervisory skills such as team building, all required HR functions and effective communication. [Required]
• Attend the core leadership development classes. [Required]
• Possess the ability to instruct, guide and mentor the modality staff with a positive, supportive attitude. [Required]
• Supports all hospital and administration initiatives for customer service, patient care and interdepartmental cooperation. [Required]

Education:

• High School Grad or Equiv [Required]
• Associate [Preferred]

Work Experience:

• 1+ years leadership experience [Preferred]
• 5+ years of experience [Preferred]

Licenses and Certifications:
Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required] AND
Registered Technologist - Radiography RT(R)(ARRT) [Required] OR Registered Nurse (RN) [Required]
 Registered Technologist - Vascular-Interventional Radiography RT(VI)(ARRT) [Preferred]

Pay Range:

$31.55 - $58.69
