Overview The Social Media Supervisor is responsible for developing innovative social strategies to meet and exceed client business objectives and spearhead social programs. Works with media team to translate the client goals and objectives into actionable items. This role is responsible for leading a group of social media planners while fostering communication across all departments and partner agencies. Responsibilities Guide and drive social media strategies for certain client account(s) and help to set overall objectives Build, maintain and grow client relationships and client business Oversee, author and/or constructively edit and review the writing of social media documents (timelines, POVs, RFPs, plans, agreements, client memos, and correspondence from within and outside the agency). Prepare plan presentations and oversee preparation of social media plan presentation elements Supervise, direct and review the development and implementation of specified social media plans Lead weekly social media meetings with clients and provide insight into weekly online media results Work closely with creative teams for trafficking assets and execute activation of content & amplification of influencer posts and content Develop, plan and execute social test and learns, specifically around social commerce activation Build and maintain relationships with social media publishers and internal agency counterparts Understand and adopt new social media trends and/or processes for clients Maintain knowledge of current social media trends and provide training to employees Develop a successful team of social media planners through coaching and mentoring; this role will have a direct report and will manage additional hands on keyboard team members Other responsibilities, as assigned Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in marketing or advertising highly preferred 3+ years of social media planning and buying experience, preferably at an advertising or media agency Extensive experience working with social media ad platforms (Meta, TikTok and Pinterest are priorities) with extensive knowledge in full funnel capabilities and objectives (awareness, traffic and sales) Strong leadership and managerial skills, guiding the junior staff Must be a self-starter, with strong planning and organizational skills and the ability to work with minimal direction Strong time-management and organizational skills Experience managing multiple, competing priorities, duties and/or projects Strong communication and negotiation skills; client facing presentation, statuses and reporting proficiency is key Proven ability to develop and maintain strong professional relationships with clients, colleagues, and vendors Experience with CPG or social commerce capabilities and ad formats across all social platforms. Required PC proficiency and solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Experience analyzing social data and market research Proficiency in Prisma, Budget tracking, Actualization/reconciliation and client billing familiarity Understanding and respect for taxonomy compliancy; experience with taxonomy tools or process Additional information Our Publicis Groupe motto “Viva La Différence” means we’re better together, and we believe that our differences make us stronger. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
