About the role

This role is responsible in driving all the:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with affluent clients, sommeliers, wine buyers, and professionals in the hospitality industry.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans for recruiting HNWI and accelerating growth in luxury/premium on-premise channels.
  • Achieve annual sales targets and manage key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Plan and host luxury events such as tastings, wine dinners, and VIP experiences to recruit new HNWI consumers.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to enhance brand visibility and market penetration.
  • Manage inventory, pricing strategies, and promotional materials.
  • Lead and develop team members to ensure high performance and alignment with brand standards.
  • Identify opportunities for luxury and premium wine across key channels.
  • Strengthen relationships with key external stakeholders to drive proactive depletion of Penfolds luxury wines.
  • Negotiate pricing and terms with distributors and trade customers.
  • Develop and implement stales strategies for luxury wine brands.
  • Introduce luxury NPDs to potential buyers and consumers through bespoke experiences.
  • Drive education and HNWI engagements to improve brand knowledge and awareness.

 

About you

  • Minimum 3 yrs experience in wine with luxury hotels, fine dining

  • Minimum 3 yrs experience in sales or working within major account environments

  • Proven ability in managing cross-functional projects 

  • Proven ability to influence without authority 

  • Advanced computer application skills across the full MS Office suite 

  • Experience in working with CRM systems 

  • Entrepreneurial attitude, and team player at all levels 

  • Solid business acumen, and ability to learn entire business model 

  • Presentation, training, coaching and facilitation skills

  • Wine / drinks Industry experience
