Job Description & Responsibilities:
This professional will join Blackstone Real Estate’s Portfolio Management team in New York. The Portfolio Management team serves as the central hub of the Real Estate business, synthesizing and reporting on market and portfolio information across all sectors, strategies, and regions to provide a single, unified source of insights for leadership, investors, and cross-functional partners.
The Senior Associate will sit at the intersection of analytics and communication in a high-visibility role that spans a broad range of deliverables, from investor quarterly letters and portfolio reporting to real-time talking points on investment strategies, macroeconomic developments and market performance. The role requires moving fluidly across workstreams, distilling complex data into compelling narratives, and engaging effectively with a wide range of stakeholders and topics.
The Senior Associate will collaborate closely with teams across the U.S., Europe, and Asia, including Asset Management, Acquisitions, Finance, Investor Relations, Shareholder Relations, Public Affairs, and portfolio companies, to ensure alignment and a unified message across key materials.
The main areas of responsibility for the role include:
- Insights & Analytics: Track and analyze portfolio performance, activity, and positioning across all sectors and regions globally; source and synthesize data from real estate markets, macroeconomic trends, capital markets and current events to support internal and external stakeholders
- Reporting & Presentations: Prepare recurring and ad hoc materials, including investor communications, portfolio exposure and holdings analyses, briefing documents, presentations and reporting packages, that distill portfolio themes, sector trends and market developments
- Messaging & Narratives: Develop centralized talking points and briefing notes on both recurring topics and real-time market developments that support internal leadership discussions, external communications, fundraising, and product positioning
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Asset Management, Acquisitions, Finance, Investor Relations, Shareholder Relations, Marketing, Public Affairs, portfolio companies, and regional Portfolio Management teams to ensure materials reflect the latest information and perspectives
- Special Projects: Support strategic initiatives related to portfolio positioning, market analysis, and broader business priorities as they arise
Qualifications:
Blackstone seeks to hire individuals who are highly motivated, excel in a fast-paced, team-based culture, and demonstrate strong judgment. In addition to strong analytical, project management, and communication skills, the candidate should have the following qualifications:
- 5+ years of professional experience in a real estate‑related role
- Background in real estate, investment banking, consulting, investor relations, finance or real estate private equity preferred
- Strong proficiency in PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
- Knowledge of real estate investment fundamentals, including sector-level metrics and economic concepts
- Analytical and quantitative acumen to translate complex data into clear, actionable narratives
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, crafting concise and compelling materials for senior audiences.
- Strong interpersonal skills, engaging comfortably with senior leaders and collaborating across functions, geographies, and stakeholders.
- Proven track record of managing multiple concurrent workstreams, reprioritizing quickly, and delivering under tight deadlines
- Highly motivated, self-starter who thrives in fast-moving, dynamic environments where responsibilities shift regularly
- Sound judgment and independence, operating effectively with limited direction
- Detail-oriented, resourceful, and intellectually curious
- Entrepreneurial mindset and desire to learn and grow within a high-impact team

Expected annual base salary range:
$175,000 - $200,000Actual base salary within that range will be determined by several components including but not limited to the individual's experience, skills, qualifications and job location. For roles located outside of the US, please disregard the posted salary bands as these roles will follow a separate compensation process based on local market comparables.
Additional compensation and benefits offered in connection with the role consist of comprehensive health benefits, including but not limited to medical, dental, vision, and FSA benefits; paid time off; life insurance; 401(k) plan; and discretionary bonuses. Certain employees may also be eligible for equity and other incentive compensation at Blackstone’s sole discretion.
