Job Description
Key job responsibilities
- Partner with data business leaders and program stakeholders to ensure key decision data is accurate, automated, and delivered in a timely fashion
- Collect, analyze, and manage quantitative business data to create meaningful reports, drive metrics discussions, and recommend improvements
- Lead the development of weekly, monthly, and quarterly metrics alongside operational planning, forecasting, and reporting models that enable stakeholders to make effective decisions
- Manage competing priorities while providing level-headed guidance on business metrics, even during unexpected events
- Produce regular reports and analysis using data mining and analytical tools to identify trends, develop forecasts, and uncover improvement opportunities
- Conduct root cause analysis to identify underlying process, operational, or data-related issues, implement improvements, and establish new measures that advance data-driven decision-making across the organization
- Develop and implement KPIs, automated reporting solutions, and process improvements that meet business needs
- Manage and execute data related project components from start to finish including data gathering and manipulation, synthesis and modeling, problem solving, and communication of insights and recommendation

- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Management/Systems, Business Analytics or other related discipline
- Experience in analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc.
- Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
- Experience building and maintaining basic data artifacts (e.g., ETL, data models, queries)
- Master's degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Management/Systems, Business Analytics or other related discipline
- 3+ years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc. experience
- Experience with AWS solutions such as EC2, DynamoDB, S3, and Redshift
- Experience in data mining, ETL, etc. and using databases in a business environment with large-scale, complex datasets
