Senior Sourcing Buyer (Manufacturing)

The Senior Sourcing Buyer is responsible for the more complex procurement methods that require a greater degree of experience, knowledge, professionalism, and administration than a Buyer/Planner. In this role, you will provide leadership for strategic sourcing by obtaining materials from suppliers at the lowest cost consistent with considerations of quality, reliability of source and urgency of need. In this role, you will lead sourcing initiatives, evaluate market trends, analyzes supplier quotations, and partner with suppliers to support business and operational goals. Working independently with minimal supervision, as the Senior Sourcing Buyer you will manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, schedule deliveries, and maintain inventory levels aligned with forecasted demand.
