About the Role
The BI Analyst will use their strong analytical skills to deliver data-driven solutions and insights to key stakeholders. Candidates should demonstrate strong critical thinking skills, initiative to learn new skills and business products, and effective communication of complex solutions to non-technical users. The BI Analyst will be responsible for utilizing many sources of company data to derive actionable insights that align with company strategies and additions to/maintenance of current BI reporting.
What You’ll Do
Work with business unit stakeholders and technical teams to identify valuable data points generated by our business units and their customers that can be leveraged for insight
Transform, analyze, and interpret data generated from customers, partners, and other 3rd party data sources
Create/provide ongoing reporting and analysis to inform strategic business decisions
Collaborate with business stakeholders, data engineers, product team, and other analysts on strategic data initiatives
Consolidate and model data from multiple sources for novel analysis and support of new products/services
Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
Ensure reporting is accurate and intuitive for end user confidence in the numbers
Generate KPIs and metrics to drive growth and efficiency
Make recommendations to stakeholders on business strategies and process improvements
What You’ll Bring
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field
2+ years in an analytical role, using strong critical thinking and communication skills to tell a story with data and provide insights
2+ years querying relational databases (Databricks, Postgres, Redshift, MS SQL) and familiarity with Data Warehousing concepts
2+ years authoring and maintaining published reports and datasets in Power BI, or similar BI platform
Experience in Transportation or Finance industry with ability to understand customer value proposition and support sales & strategic efforts
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly present complex concepts and analytical findings to business leaders
