Company description Publicis West Africa (PWA) is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Media Ops Director to join our dynamic team in Accra. As a key member of our West African operations, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating workstreams across 25 countries in the region. You will lead and inspire a team of talented media specialists, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment. Overview Scope of work: You will play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless media operations and driving successful integrated campaigns. Your responsibilities will include overseeing day-to-day operations, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring adherence to best practices. You will drive team capacity and enhance workflows to align with the Agency's overall media strategy. Responsibilities Expectations of an Operations Manager: • Support Head of Media and oversee the day-to-day operations of the media department, including traffic management, invoicing, and reconciliation. • Work with various regional and internal stakeholders (Account, regional & local, Planning teams, Finance team etc.) to deliver best-in-class integrated workflows and billing operations. • Have a clear understanding of the Agency and all clients' billing processes and requirements across markets in CWAR. • Serve as the POC and local escalation point for any billing requirements and/or challenges. Set up joint solutions and regular work streams with regional/local teams and Finance to develop an integrated workflow and improve billing turnaround time. • Partner with Strategists and Planners to develop and implement highly integrated strategic responses for brand’s business and marketing needs. • Generate accurate reports on status of existing accounts, campaigns and new business. • Serve as the local POC for mid-to-long-term system rollout and working integration (Growth OS, ITS, Chase); ensure local requirements are captured timely and accurately, drive local UAT, trials, and trainings. • Maintains a sense of discretion and professionalism, representing the Groupe. • Execute any other tasks assigned by your immediate Head of Department or supervisor. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in media operations or a similar role. Strong understanding of media planning and buying principles. Strong financial understanding of budgeting, negotiating, and agency profitability. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of stakeholders. Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Suite – Word, PowerPoint and Excel Additional information Experience with digital and/or traditional media (e.g., social media, TV, Radio, etc.) is a plus Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices. • Attend industry events and conferences to network and expand knowledge. • Advanced knowledge of data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, PowerBI) is beneficial. • Highly organized with a keen sense of attention to detail. • Exceptional initiative and follow-through skills. • Excellent French writing and speaking skills is a hiring advantage
