Position Purpose

This position will be responsible for ensuring an excellent store experience while driving awareness to Lindt Chocolate Shops.  The ideal candidate will be analytically driven, creative problem solver, resourceful, and collaborative. This individual will assist with all marketing initiatives requiring some graphic design, in-store decorative elements and other creative approaches to delivery the necessary store and mall assets to drive traffic and aquisition of customers.

Essential Job Functions/Key Accountabilities

Campaign Development

  • Working under the Store Experience manager, responsible for delivering the seasonal campaign activation & execution on time and on budget, and developing & presenting final results, learnings, measurement and impact for the future.
  • Develop and implement marketing plans, strategies and processes for brick and mortar stores to ensure that marketing programs are profitable and competitive, generate NTS and optimize promotions with respect to the bottom line (GP & COOP) in physical retail.
  • Engage Brand team members to ensure consumer relevance, timeliness and effective execution for in store.
  • Develop and lead deployment of marketing campaigns and assets for physical stores.
  • Seek regular and timely feedback from the District Manager & Field team to fully understand needs, performance, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Own the marketing budget for physical acquisition.
  • Ensure all design materials are consistent with corporate branding guidelines and be the gatekeeper to ensure brand equity is met in Retail Stores.
  • Creates and distributes D2C Activation Guides that outline the objectives, key messages, target customers, product features and benefits, and selling tips for each in-store activation
  • Champion the activation of Lindt promotions on mall and shopping centre websites to ensure promotions/events are promoted and customers are always aware of current Lindt promotions
  • Liaise with Global Retail to ensure optimal in store activations
  • Support the new store opening process (when relevant) by ordering marketing materials and helping to plan and execute new store opening activities that drive traffic and awarenes
  • Work closely with Brand Marketing to understand and build programs that create a holistic and consistent message to all our consumers

Visual Marketing Team Support

  • Assist with store communication regarding new items, item updates, promotions or visual merchandising.
  • Own product price list and price point signs coordination from design to shipment to the stores with close management with pricing analyst.
  • Collaborates with the Inventory Manager and Promotional Analyst to ensure optimal product placement and presentation with the required collateral. Facilitate short-dated or excess inventory executions with team members.
  • Conducts regular analysis of sales performance, inventory levels, and customer feedback to optimize planogram effectiveness.

Asset Management

  • Responsible for all product sellability in store by owning SAP / OlymPOS process for product lists
  • Troubleshoot item setup issues (i.e items not scanning), tickets and messages on the store communication platform Opterus and support with OlymPOS. Manage parameters within the POS system to ensure seamless selling.
  • Support sku rationalization processes with Retail Analytics and Brand team to determine the best perfoming portfolio possible for brick and mortar
  • Provides training and support to Retail Store Managers on planogram execution and compliance.
  • Manages the product assortment catalogue to ensure all new items are added and discontinued items are removed.
  • Reviews Store manager and customer feedback (Voice of Customer) to identify opportunities and gaps in the visual merchandising strategy and product offerings
  • Ensures compliance with Global merchanding standards and guidelines for all in-shop displays and signage
  • Manage day-to-day merchandising administrative responsibilities, including leading the team through item setups and discontinuations, product launches, and store issue resolution

Qualifications & Requirements:

Skills & Knowledge:

  • 3-5 years experience in Retail Marketing & Campaign Management 
  • Adobe Creative Suite or other editing software
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail “from start to finish”
  • Experience creating and managing media briefs and creative briefs
  • General knowledge of marketing tracking and analytics, and website content management platforms
  • Ability to execute multiple projects simultaneously with a high degree of cross-functional communication
  • Excellent written communication skills and presentation skills

Preferred

  • General Knowledge: Publishing platforms, affiliate marketing
  • Techinical: Adobe, Canva

Education:

  • Bachelor Degree required

Other Requirements:

  • Travel 30%

Total Rewards:

Compensation Range: $73,962 - $118,350

Lindt USA’s salary range reflects market rates based on our size, revenue, and location. Starting pay is determined using a wide range of factors including, but not limited to, job-related skills, knowledge, and experience as well as market conditions. A bonus and/or long-term incentive may be included as part of this compensation package.
