Job Description Summary:
The Cybersecurity Manager collaborates with various teams and vendors to implement changes, updates, and resolve issues effectively. The manager ensures compliance with industry regulatory policies and procedures and prepares comprehensive reports and analyses on the systems. Furthermore, the manager provides strategic vision and direction to manage the organization's risk, ensuring business alignment, effective governance, and maintaining the availability, integrity, and confidentiality of systems and products.
This position can be located in Stratham, NH or Kansas City, MO and will work a hybrid schedule reporting to one of those offices.
Essential Functions
Provide direction for the company’s data and cybersecurity protection and oversee technology governance and policies
Develop the company’s IT security strategy, security awareness programs, security architecture, and security incident response
Provide strategic risk guidance for IT initiatives, including evaluating and recommending technical controls
Inform business leaders about security risks and mitigation strategies
Collaborate with IT and business compliance teams as needed and coordinate the IT component of internal and external audits, as well as federal and state examinations, to ensure security programs follow relevant laws, regulations, and policies
Plan and oversee the IT security budget, resources, and projects
Establish and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, vendors, and partners
Monitor and evaluate emerging technologies and trends and recommend solutions to improve IT security functions and effectiveness
Ensure adherence to IT security policies, standards, and best practices
Train and mentor team members to improve IT security culture and awareness
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field
Demonstrated 3 years of managing others, providing solution designs, and operational excellence

Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
Demonstrated leadership in driving a culture of continuous improvement and Innovation
Working technical knowledge of industry standards for IT security controls
Strong knowledge of TCP/IP and other networking protocols
Experience with ISO and NIST security frameworks
Train and mentor team members to improve IT security culture and awareness
Preferred Qualifications
Certifications in security standards (ISC2 CC, ISC2 SSCP, Microsoft SC-xx)
Broad hands-on knowledge of firewalls, intrusion detection systems, anti-virus software, data encryption, and industry-standard practices
In-depth technical knowledge of network, PC, and platform operating systems, including MS Windows, Linux, and Mac OS
