Automotive CDL/DOT Driver

Join our Pittsville Ford team as a CDL/DOT Driver and play a vital role in ensuring the efficient transportation of vehicles for our Ford Pro Elite Commercial Service Center. This on-call position offers the flexibility to support our operations as needed, providing reliable and professional service to meet our business demands.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate commercial vehicles to pick up and deliver vehicles to and from designated locations
• Maintain accurate records of trips, deliveries, and vehicle inspections
• Comply with all DOT and safety regulations during transportation
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and team members regarding schedules and delivery status
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues
•  Ensure the secure handling of vehicles during transit

• Valid CDL license with appropriate endorsements
• Valid DOT medical certification
• Proven driving experience with a clean driving record
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards-
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work on an on-call basis and adapt to changing schedules
• High School Diploma
