Job Description
Assists with the collection and reporting of routine low risk hearing screening data under the direction of a licensed audiologist. Assists with Conditioning Play Audiometry in audiological sessions requiring an assistant, under direct supervision of a licensed audiologist. Assists in the scheduling and transportation of patients. Participates in and maintains team support. Performs other duties and shared tasks as assigned.
Main Duties: Performing newborn hearing screenings under the direction of a licensed audiologist, tracking and reporting of newborn hearing screening data, cleaning and maintenance of newborn hearing screening equipment
Secondary Duties: Assisting the audiologists with completing hearing testing of young children in the sound booth when an assistant is needed, assisting with scheduling and transportation of patients, assisting with office duties, delivering patient equipment to various patient units, participates in and maintains team support, performs other duties and shared tasks as assigned
Job is PRN (as needed); includes weekend shifts and holiday rotation.
Minimum RequirementsHigh School or equivalent is required.
0 - 3 years of service with system
Preferred Attributes:
Hospital and/or Clinical Experience
If college student: Must be Motivated and preferably with interest in allied health/medical field of study
