Brown & Brown is seeking a Communications Coordinator to join our growing team in Oak Brook, IL!
The Communications Coordinator is responsible for a broad variety of support services for internal and external customers while in the Communication Coordinator role. Acquires a knowledge of communication skills as well as overall insurance knowledge in this role within the Employee Benefits Department.
How You Will Contribute:
Intake/Recording of Team Projects
Maintenance of Communication Team Systems
Basic – Enhanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
Basic Benefits Guide updates
Basic Open Enrollment Communications support: postcards, flyers, etc.
Basic knowledge of Benefit Mobile App
Basic RFP response support
Skills & Experience to be Successful:
High School degree or equivalent required
Proficient with MS Office Suite
Exceptional telephone demeanor
Strong attention to detail
Good verbal and written communication skills and good grammatical skills
Ability to identify and resolve exceptions and to interpret data
Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
1+ years experience in a similar position
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Communications/Graphic Design (preferred)
Pay Range
$36.00 - $48.00 HourlyThe pay range provided above is made in good faith and based on our lowest and highest annual salary or hourly rate paid for the role and takes into account years of experience required, geography, and/or budget for the role.
