Job Description
Join our finance team as a Senior Accountant responsible for processing financial accounts and related accounting activities in line with accounting standards and internal procedures, while supporting monthly closings, quarterly consolidations, and audits
What you’ll be doing: Process accounting documents and review accounting entries and ledgers Post both standard and non-standard accounting operations Support and review the work of junior accountants/accountants Perform closing activities and prepare financial reports and analyses Gather and verify information necessary for processing accounting documents Prepare expert commentaries related to processed documents and conduct related investigations Communicate and cooperate with other departments in line with company policies and procedures Prepare statements, accounting reports, and financial analyses Act in accordance with AXA values and company standards Perform additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor What you’ll bring: University degree in Economics/Finance or secondary education with relevant accounting experience Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar accounting role (insurance industry experience is an advantage) Czech language at native-speaker level; Good command of English (B2 level); Polish is considered an advantage Strong knowledge of MS Office, especially MS Excel Knowledge of accounting principles and tax regulations High level of accuracy, reliability, flexibility, and attention to detail Strong communication and teamwork skills What we offer: At AXA Partners, we’re appreciative of the people who work for us and our rewards package is reviewed regularly to reflect that
