Summary
Provide input to and lead implementation of Logistics plans and policies to manage activities concerned with materials and finished goods storage and movement, both for intercompany and last mile transportation an warehousing activities.
Job Description
- Provide input to and lead implementation of Logistics plans and policies to manage activities concerned with materials and finished goods storage and movement
- Research and evaluate the Logistics policies around Finished Goods / Materials Movement & Storage, monitoring their deployment and achievement in order to enhance the effectiveness of Logistics strategies
- Prepare Logistics plans and policies related to inventory Control, materials and finished goods storage and movement
- Translate current/ future business needs and challenges into effective Logistics plans for Galderma
- Execute Logistics plans and policies to build general logistics optimization, plans and controls
- Prioritize and coordinate transformation and change of Logistics policies and processes if required
- Understand and analyse ongoing Logistics processes identifying any need for improvement and implementing programs and policies that better suit the needs of Galderma
- Develop and formulate strategies and policies to meet business needs
- Coordinate key Logistics activities to provide effective Logistics service to all stakeholders - Guide and consult Galderma employees on Logistics related matters with focus on strategic and operational activities
- Establish and maintain potential relationship with all stakeholders within and outside the organization Differentiator
- A highly experienced manager who manages within a nominated job family or may even lead a job family at country level
- Responsible for short to mid- term (1- 3 years) execution of functional strategy and operational direction
- Problems faced are often complex and require extensive investigation and analysis and solved based on functional knowledge and methodologies
