Job Description
Essential Job Function
- Works alongside the program director to maintain program accreditation with the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education and maintain data fields on the Accreditation Data System.
- Manages regulatory activities including accreditation, board specific requirements and medical licensure.
- Manages recruiting activities for the residency to include managing the Electronic Residency Application System for program applicants, screening candidates, preparing and submitting rank lists, preparing and submitting new hire paperwork and planning departmental orientations.
- Develops and implements residency and fellowship program policies, data collection, and monitoring processes as required by the ACGME, in conjunction with program director and the GME Office to ensure compliance.
- Manages the program's budget, including oversight of faculty and trainee travel and reconciliation, to ensure the program functions at/below budget.
- Owns activities such as analyzing administrative workflow, prioritizing tasks and project management as needed to meet deadlines, report compilation, data maintenance, overseeing coordinator, and program relations/communications both externally and internally.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Education
- Required: Bachelor's Degree
Experience
- Required: 3 years
Licensure/Certification/Listing
- Required: C-TAGME Certification required or obtained within one year of eligibility.
