Overview Senior DevOps Engineer We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Developer with a strong background in Amazon Web Services (AWS), DevOps, Kubernetes (K8s), and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to take a lead role in deploying and supporting our AI platform, packaged in Docker containers and orchestrated via Kubernetes
As the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for our internal AI platform, you will lead an in-flight deployment with a Tier 1 client, oversee end-to-end support operations, and act as the primary technical interface for all client issues, updates, patches, and communications
Your Impact Deploy, manage, and support a proprietary AI platform running in Docker containers, orchestrated using Kubernetes (EKS)
Serve as the technical lead for an active client deployment, ensuring successful rollout, environment readiness, and ongoing operational stability
Oversee and coordinate the help desk / support function, including triage, troubleshooting, customer communications, updates, and patch releases related to the AI platform
Act as the primary client-facing SME for all platform-related issues—advising on usage, performance, security, scalability, and automation best practices
Design and implement scalable, secure, and automated cloud infrastructure on AWS to support both general workloads and AI-specific environments
Build and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines for containerized AI and application deployments using AWS CodePipeline, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar tools
Automate infrastructure provisioning and environment configuration using Terraform or AWS CloudFormation
Integrate monitoring, logging, and observability for containerized services and AI workloads using tools such as Amazon CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, AWS X-Ray, and OpenSearch
Collaborate with AI/ML teams, platform engineers, and software developers to enable efficient model deployment, scaling, and lifecycle management
Drive DevOps culture, cloud security, and governance best practices across the team
Skills & Experience Expertise in containerization using Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes, ideally with EKS in production environments
Proven hands-on experience with AWS, including key services (EKS, Lambda, ECS, EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, KMS, RDS/DynamoDB, ALB/NLB)
Previous experience as a technical lead or SME for client-facing cloud platforms, including support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution
Proven ability to oversee help desk or support operations and manage communication with enterprise clients
Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines, including automation of testing, security scans, and deployments
Experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting for container-based applications
Proven scripting ability in Bash or Python
Set Yourself Apart With Cloud certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, or Google Professional Cloud Architect
Experience with serverless computing and microservices architecture
Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
Background in hybrid cloud and multi-cloud environments
Strong understanding of compliance frameworks (PCI DSS, HIPAA, GDPR)
