Assistant Manager, Agency Strategic Planning

Job Descriptions:

Business Growth & Strategic Execution

  • Assist in the development and implementation of strategic plans.
  • Act as a liaison between the Director and cross-functional teams to drive strategic initiatives.
  • Coordinate with various departments to ensure the smooth implementation of strategies.
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of strategic planning efforts.
  • Derive key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of strategic plans.
  • Create regular reports detailing progress, outcomes, and areas for improvement.

Agency Liaison

  • Engage in regular discussions with agency leaders and key stakeholders to maintain alignment with company objectives.
  • Facilitate workshops and meetings to clearly communicate agency goals and gather feedback.
  • Offer ongoing support to agency personnel to ensure understanding and commitment to strategic plans.
  • Provide support to agency events as necessary.

Digital Application & Project Management

  • Assist in defining and prioritizing the roadmap and product backlogs for designated agency mobile applications and digital tools.
  • Collaborate closely with development teams and agents, acting as a bridge between business requirements and technical development to ensure optimal delivery of digital workflows and activity management features.
  • Monitor project timelines and deliverables to ensure adherence to strategic objectives.
  • Provide support and resources to teams to overcome challenges and achieve project milestones.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Business Studies, Administration, Management, or equivalent.
  • 7 years or more experience in insurance, professional services, or financial services.
  • Experience as a Product Owner or in a similar role, ideally in insurance or fintech digital products.
  • Strong knowledge of change management principles and tools.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese; Putonghua highly preferred.
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
