Job Summary

The AVP-Fixed Voice Product Management is responsible for driving the strategy, development, lifecycle management, and commercialization of fixed voice services (e.g., SIP Trunking, Hosted PBX, PSTN replacement solutions) for enterprise and SME segments. This role ensures the product portfolio is competitive, scalable, and aligned with market demand, revenue targets, and operational efficiency goals.

Job Details

1.Product Lifecycle Management

  • Own the end-to-end lifecycle of fixed voice products, from launch to retirement.
  • Ensure product relevance through continuous market and customer feedback.
  • Maintain product documentation, feature catalogs, and change logs.

 

2.Operational Excellence

  • Oversee provisioning, activation, and service assurance processes.
  • Monitor SLA compliance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with network and infrastructure teams to ensure deployment readiness.

 

3.Performance & Quality Monitoring

  • Track product performance metrics (revenue achievement, product P&L, etc.)
  • Lead root cause analysis and resolution of recurring service issues.
  • Implement operational dashboards and reporting tools.

 

4.Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Work closely with sales, network, IT, and customer service teams.
  • Ensure alignment between product capabilities and delivery processes.
  • Support pre-sales and post-sales teams with product knowledge and operational insights.

 

5.Commercial Support

  • Provide input to pricing and bundling strategies based on operational feasibility.
  • Support GTM execution with operational readiness and service design.
  • Monitor product profitability and cost-to-serve metrics.

 

6.Team Leadership

  • Lead a lean team of product operations specialists and analysts.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, agility, and customer-centricity.
  • Develop team capabilities in lifecycle and operational management.

 

Minimum Requirements:

 

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree from a well-known university in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related STEM field.
  • Master’s degree (MBA or Technology Management) is preferred.
  • Professional certification in voice networking, marketing, or related field is a plus.
  • Recent formal and informal education in Artificial Intelligence and its applications is a plus.

 

Professional Experience:

  • 10-15 years of experience in product management, preferably in fixed voice, connectivity, or telecom solutions (e.g., SIP Trunk, Cloud PBX, LAN, WAN, etc.).
  • Experience in the telecom or ICT industry with exposure to enterprise/B2B markets.
  • Strong background in cross-functional collaboration (technology, sales, delivery, operations).
  • Proven experience leading product lifecycle (development, launch, enhancement, support).
  • Hands-on involvement in product PoC, technical support, and pre-sales activities.

 

Expected Skills

  • Technical & Commercial Understanding with solid grasp of voice network technologies (OSI Layer, fiber optic, SBC, Voice Firewall etc.) and enterprise connectivity solutions.
  • Product Management with ability to define roadmap, manage lifecycle, support sales, and ensure delivery excellence.
  • Analytical Thinking and Reporting with ability to monitor performance, revenue, project pipeline, and churn metrics effectively.
