Greeter
Position Overview:
To ensure all guests are greeted and seated in a friendly and courteous manner using appropriate procedures, in accordance with Omni Standards. To handle all payment transactions for all foods and/or beverages purchased in the hotel's restaurants.
Key Responsibilities:
Answering phone correctly and politely
Takes reservations as needed and enter into Open Table correctly according to training guidelines
Greeting guests and seat guests
Keep host stand clean and organized
Control heavy volume at Restaurant entrance
Knowledge of hotel property
Inform the guest about daily features and menu items
Knowledge of Bobs concept and menu
Attend to and anticipate guest’s needs
Familiarization with menu and know how to properly take to go orders as needed
Follow server rotation, seating and informing servers with chits correctly
Inform manager of all potential issues or complaints immediately
Provide nightly guest tracking to manager prior to leaving
Complete other tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
Be committed to providing exceptional customer service
Ability to multi-task
Must be able to stand for 8+ hour per day
Flexible Scheduling to include nights, weekends, and holidays
Must be Food Handler and TABC certified
