About the Opportunity:
Chelsea Piers is seeking Gymnastics Instructors to join our dynamic Field House team in Chelsea. Instructors will primarily work recreational classes, school break camps, birthday parties, and special events. This is a part-time hourly position, with the possibility of moving to full-time status. Chelsea Piers is proud to partner with Positive Coaching Alliance, which provides recurring workshops for our staff.
Responsibilities:
- Teach gymnastics and/or ninja classes to children between the ages of 1-16 years old
- Create and follow lesson plans for a variety of ages and abilities
- Be prepared for class by arriving on time and knowing students names and where they are in the program progression
- Communicate with students, staff, and parents when required
- Bring energy and enthusiasm to each class
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Complete USA Gymnastics Safety Certification and SafeSport Certification (may complete within 1st month of employment)

About You:
You are dependable, punctual, and passionate about gymnastic and working with children. You have:
- Minimum 1 year of experience teaching gymnastics or related programs to children between the ages of 1-16 years
- Ability to maintain a professional and courteous manner throughout the workday
- Excellent customer services and communication skills
- Positive attitude
- Flexible availability (including weekends)
