DELIVERY TRUCK DRIVER

West Central Equipment is a well-established John Deere Agricultural and Turf Equipment Sales and Service Company with multiple locations in Western and Central Pennsylvania. We have an opening at our Ebensburg location for a Part-Time Driver.

The primary purpose of this position is to pickup and deliver equipment to customers.

Responsibilities:

• Load and unload trucks
• Unload incoming shipments of equipment as needed
• Drive company trucks to transport equipment to and from customer locations
• Demonstrate features of equipment to customers as needed upon delivery
• Other duties as assigned by managers

 

Experience, Education, Skills and Knowledge:

• Driver's License (CDL not needed but is a plus) . . . Medical Card for truck drivers is required
• Good oral communication skills
• Ability to lift at least 75 lbs.
• High School Diploma or equivalent experience
• Ability to operate, or learn to operate, a forklift and skid loader safely
• Ability to operate, or learn to operate, tractors, mowers and other ag and mowing equipment
• Familiarity with ag and turf equipment and parts is a plus
