Job Description

AirLife is hiring a Warehouse Clerk for the Receiving Department on 1st shift. Hours from 6AM - 2:30PM Monday - Friday in our Litchfield Park temperature controlled facility.

POSITION SUMMARY 

Warehouse Clerks are responsible for a variety of receiving, shipping, international, and other warehouse tasks. This role provides opportunities for cross-functional engagement and cross-training. The Warehouse Clerk will graciously collaborate with different teams, leads, supervisors, and departments to complete the necessary clerical tasks to accomplish DC goals. 

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS 

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:  

  • Basic math skills, problem solving skills, organizational and communication skills.  
  • Must be able to read, write and understand English.  
  • Computer skills, including Microsoft Suite and WMS experience, are necessary.
  • Experience on stand-up reach trucks and electric pallet riders is preferred.

Level of Experience:  

  • 1+ year of fast-paced warehouse experience.
  • Experience of administrative duties with a distributor preferred.

Level of Education:  

High school education or equivalent. 

Travel:  

As the business needs. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

Collaborate with different teams, leads, supervisors, and departments to complete the necessary clerical tasks to accomplish DC goals. These tasks include, but are not limited to:  

  • Must maintain accurate and timely distribution logs, documents and forms.
  • Attention to detail and work completion is crucial with work products and distribution operations. 
  • Problem solving skills with identifying and resolving issues related to distribution are required. 
  • Effective communication with business partners is vital to ensure smooth operations. 
  • Computer and system skills are a prerequisite to facilitate distribution responsibilities.
  • Follow-up and a sense of urgency are essential to distribution business flow.  
  • Maintain an organized, efficient and clean work area.
  • Assist with inventory counts and stock audits when necessary. 
  • Must follow safety procedures and maintain a safe working environment.
