Job Description
- Testing of flight control and vehicle management functions across various aircraft projects
- Conceptual design of test strategy to allow for reusability of test cases over different verification and development environments such as:
MATLAB-Simulink and Model-in-the-Loop
Closed and open loop tests for both host and target environments
Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL and IronBirds)
Flight tests - Test strategy definition, including:
Coordination with various internal and external stakeholders
Specification, and implementation of related test cases
Execution and analysis of test cases
Data handling, analysis and judgement on test results - Integrated testing in MIL and HIL environments as well as during flight test campaign
- Development of suitable tools enhancing automation of test case execution, analysis and report filing
- Test case documentation and traceability
- On-site support for flight testing of manned and unmanned aircraft
- University degree in aerospace engineering or similar courses of studies
- 5-10 years professional experience in aviation industry
- Previous experience working in compliance with aviation standards: ARP4754A, DO-178C, DO-331 and DO-330 standards
- Previous experience with Speedgoat Real-Time Simulation and Testing is an advantage
- Testing experience with simulations in software / model and hardware environments
Hands-on experience with Matlab/Simulink/Stateflow and Mathworks verification toolchain (Simulink Coverage, Design Verifier, Simulink Test,
Polyspace, Code Inspector)
- Background in flight dynamics and flight operations is an advantage
- Flight testing experience is an advantage
- Very good communication skills and ability to work in a team
- Passion for aviation and the future of aerial transport solutions
- Business fluent in English
