Tester and Automation Lead
We are looking for a dedicated Tester and Test Automation Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in maintaining and enhancing a suite of automated tests using Java, Selenium, and Playwright. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who is passionate about quality assurance and ensuring that our software products meet the highest standards.

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Java, Selenium, and Playwright.
- Enhance existing test automation frameworks to improve efficiency and coverage.
Test Planning and Strategy:
- Collaborate with product owners and developers to understand requirements and define test strategies.
- Create comprehensive test plans that outline testing scope, objectives, and resources.
Test Execution:
- Execute automated and manual tests to validate software functionality, performance, and security.
- Analyze test results and report defects, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
- Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD):
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to ensure rapid feedback on code changes.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to optimize the testing process within the deployment workflow.
Test Case Management:
- Develop and maintain detailed test cases and test scripts based on functional and non-functional requirements.
- Ensure traceability of test cases to requirements and track test coverage.
Performance Testing:
- Conduct performance testing to identify bottlenecks and ensure the application meets performance benchmarks.
- Utilize performance testing tools to simulate user load and analyze system behavior.
Documentation:
- Document test processes, test cases, and test results for future reference and compliance.
- Maintain clear and concise documentation of automated test scripts and frameworks.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and other stakeholders, to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience as a Tester and Test Automation Engineer or similar role.
- Strong proficiency in Java and experience with Selenium and/or Playwright for test automation.
- Familiarity with test management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum).
- Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI) and version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
