About the role
We are currently looking for Material and Quality Control Engineer who will Assist and supervise the project construction supervision of Nalua Baherchar Bridge (1.5 km Steel Arch Bridge) over the river Pandab-Paira at 27th km of Barishal (Dinerapool)-Laxmipasha-Dumki road.
Key Responsibilities:
Quality Assurance and Quality Control Procedure Plan and Manual.
Review and audit the contractor’s quality management plan (QMP) and quality system
Establish Site Laboratory by Consultant / Inspect and evaluate the contractor’s establishments including the laboratory facilities
Inspect quarries and borrow pits, and crushing plants, and order tests of materials / Approve Material Sources.
Testing of materials on-site and off-site as needed, as well as in-factory testing as required during manufacturing and inspection of goods and materials / Work Quality Assurance through testing and certification. To supervise execution of the project work as per direction of the Pipeline Engineer
Carry out inspections and certify that the works have been constructed in accordance with the requirements of the contracts.
About You:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil/material Engineering, post graduation degree preferred.
Minimum 10 years of professional experience in related field
Minimum 8 years of experience as Material and quality control engineer in major Bridge projects in ICB contract
