-Must be willing to work overtime and weekends as needed; significant overtime may be needed during busy periods.

The Job You Will Perform:
This facility manufactures corrugated packaging products for local and national customers. We are looking for motivated individuals who are capable of performing a multitude of functions in a flexible, fast-paced production environment. Our workplace requires individuals who understand the needs of the business while maintaining a focus on safety, customer satisfaction, quality and productivity. Candidates must successfully complete a Maintenance Associate AON test, panel interview; background check, employment verification, health assessment, and drug screen.
This position is an entry level position in the maintenance department. This is a “learning” positon and generally works along with more experienced mechanics to obtain OJT training.
Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Following all safety rules and practices;
- Mechanic helper on shift;
- Ability to operate shop/hand tools (grinder and drill press) in a safe manner;
- Learn to lubricate/oil all machine centers;
- Become an IP licensed motorized equipment operator;
- Gain hydraulic knowledge;
- Gain basic pneumatic knowledge;
- Gain ability to identify power sources;
- Learn how to reference equipment manuals;
- Learn SAP work order system;
- Maintaining teamwork with other associates;
- Maintaining work areas to plant standards of housekeeping;
- Must be willing to work any assigned shift: 24/5 PM maintenance support team;
- Possess a positive work attitude;
- Able to work well in a team environment and equally as well in an individual setting;
and perform other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Manager or designee

- and the ability to use personal computers and other office machines.
The Maintenance Manager evaluates qualifications. Employees in the trainee position should have the qualifications/training to successfully promote to the next level after 18 months in the trainee position.
