Are you keen to explore ideas, leveraging technology to support storytelling and enhance the visitor experience of a Singapore museum? Look forward to being a part of creating a living Memorial that unites, challenges and inspires Singaporeans of all generations towards a brighter future!
[What you will be working on]
Digital experience development: You will support the development of digital experience for the permanent exhibition, while managing the development and setup of the experience for special exhibitions, contributing to an integrated indoor-outdoor experience of the Memorial. This includes two key areas:
Pre- and post- visit experience of the Founders’ Memorial: You will work across teams – including Visitor Experience, Marketing and Communication and Information and Technology – to plan and implement a seamless visitor journey across various digital channels and devices such as social media, online ticketing platforms and digital wayfinding. You will also work with these teams to conduct evaluations and father audience insights into the visitor experience to inform ongoing improvements.
Digital brief development: You will collaborate with the Curatorial and Education teams to develop the digital experience brief – comprising technical requirements, desired user experience and suitable digital interventions – for special exhibitions and supporting the development of the digital interactives for the permanent exhibition.
Project management: You will manage the development and setup of digital experience for special exhibitions, including budgeting, managing the procurement, user testing and coordinating with the relevant NHB departments to organise the security testing to ensure that the digital system is robust. Additionally, you will also need to work closely with the Curatorial and Exhibitions teams to develop the feedback mechanism / data collection to track visitors’ responses to the exhibition content and experience, liaising with the appointed vendor and analysing the data collected.
Data management: You will work as a team to tag, organise and store citizens’ stories that are collected through the “Project Citizens” public call, for eventual display at the FM. “Project Citizens” was a campaign launched by the FM in 2025. Since 2025, the Memorial has been collecting stories of the founding generation of citizens through a senior engagement programme which is part of “Project Citizens”. These stories are currently being processed by the Education and Digital officers at the Memorial. You will be part of this project team to process the stories to be presented in the permanent exhibition, while working on the content management system and data management of the stories.
