As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for sales growth of industrial and technical gases by developing strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders to deliver our range of products and maximise the impact to the efficiency and effectivity of the customers processes.The role will be a combination of outbound sales, finding and developing opportunities for Air Liquide to provide its products and services and account management - ensuring strong partnerships with our existing customers. A fundamental part of the position of Sales Representative is to build strong relationships with current and prospective customers.
We are in search of Sales Representative to support our expanding business in Hospitality Gasses in South East Queensland.
How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?
This is a dynamic, multi-faceted commercial role where your daily actions directly impact the growth and performance of the region:
Strategic Business Development: Proactively identify, map, and pursue outbound sales opportunities to expand our market share in key industrial and technical sectors.
Key Account Stewardship: Act as a trusted advisor to a diverse portfolio of existing customers, building deep-seated technical and business relationships to ensure long-term retention and organic growth.
Process Consultation: Collaborate with engineering and technical teams to diagnose customer process challenges and propose gas-based solutions that optimize their operational efficiency.
Contract Governance: Navigate complex commercial agreements, securing long-term standard contracts and ensuring ongoing contract and pricing compliance.
Market Intelligence Gathering: Track competitor movements, regulatory shifts, and emerging market trends to feed strategic insights directly back to commercial leadership.
Commitment to Safety: Champion our core "zero harm" culture during all site visits, ensuring compliance with both company and customer safety protocols.
Are you a MATCH?
We are looking for an energetic self-starter with a growth mindset and a proven track record of B2B sales success. You will bring:
Commercial Capability: 3+ years of experience in business development, commercial account management, or technical sales within an industrial or B2B environment.
Closing & Negotiation Mastery: Demonstrated ability to open new doors, lead complex commercial discussions, and confidently close high-value agreements.
Analytical Aptitude: Strong numerical skills, including the ability to utilize CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), manage sales funnels, and analyze portfolio performance using Microsoft Excel or G-Suite.
Communication & Presence: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the confidence to influence key decision-makers and present technical solutions clearly.
Drive & Adaptability: An adaptive "can-do" attitude with the tenacity to manage competing priorities and navigate a rapidly evolving industrial landscape.
Qualifications: A tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce, Engineering, or a technical discipline is highly regarded but not essential.
