Position Summary
We are seeking a results-driven Regional Sales Manager to lead and grow revenue across the United States. The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) is responsible for driving sales growth within an assigned territory by developing, supporting, and managing relationships with HC Forklift America (HCFA) dealers. This role focuses on dealer development, territory expansion, product education, and sales performance. The RSM will work closely with dealers to increase market share, strengthen sales channels, and promote HCFA’s full product line, including IC, Electric, and Li-Ion models.
 
The RSM collaborates with Marketing, Product Management, and the National Accounts team, ensuring alignment with company strategies and initiatives. This is a field-focused role requiring regular dealer visits, training, and ongoing relationship management.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, grow, and manage HCFA dealer accounts within the assigned region.
  • Build and maintain strong professional relationships with dealers, sales teams, and end users.
  • Train and support dealers on product features, brand positioning, and sales strategies.
  • Prospect and recruit new dealers to strengthen distribution coverage and improve territory performance.
  • Assist dealers in developing sales plans, executing promotions, and achieving sales targets.
  • Conduct regular dealer visits to support sales initiatives, resolve issues, and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support product launches, technical training, and marketing initiatives.
  • Provide accurate regional reporting, forecasting, and competitive intelligence.
  • Attend trade shows, dealer meetings, product demonstrations, and company events.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of HCFA product lines and competitive products.
 
Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in equipment sales, dealer management, or territory sales within the material handling industry
  • Proven experience managing dealer networks and/or channel distribution.
  • Sales forecasting and territory planning experience.
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred (industry experience may substitute).
  • Strong references reflecting successful dealer or channel management performance.
  • Willingness to travel 60–70%, including overnight travel.
 
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with forklift dealers, equipment dealers, or technical equipment sales.
  • Familiarity with HCFA’s product lineup, competitive landscape within the material handling industry, and industry pricing dynamics.
  • Background working with CRM systems, territory reporting tools, and forecasting platforms.

  • Frequent travel by car and air across the assigned region.

Compensation & Benefits
  • Salary Range: Starts at $80,000 annually (Open to potential increase based on experience and qualifications)
