Food Service Specialist
Overview: Change lives and come join a highly skilled multi-discipline team of professionals providing care to individuals in a facility located in the heart of the metro area. The Oklahoma County Crisis Intervention Center (OCCIC) is looking for a friendly, hard-working Food Service Specialist to join their food services team. This position is responsible for preparing meals for the facility and will be responsible for the routine duties of handling, preparing, and serving food. This role will also be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the food service area.

- Salary: $30,500.00 – $36,000.00 based on qualifications
- FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
- Level I: No experience or education required.
- Level II: One year of experience in a commercial or institutional food service, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, substituting one year of vocational or technical school training in food preparation for the required experience.
- Level III: Two years of experience in a commercial or institutional food service, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, substituting one year of vocational or technical school training in food preparation for the required experience.
Special Requirements:
- Upon a conditional offer of employment, Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services applicants must submit to a physical examination and shall meet the physical examination requirements of occasionally lifting/carrying 50 pounds and able to push and pull a maximum force of 20 pounds.
