Emergency Veterinarian Schedule
- Full-time schedule: Monday–Thursday, 4:00 PM – Midnight
- 8-hour swing shifts only — no overnight shifts
- No weekend requirements
- Flexible scheduling available for experienced ER DVMs (14–16 shifts per 4-week block)
As part of our established walk-in emergency hospital, you’ll see a diverse and rewarding emergency caseload while working alongside an experienced, highly trained veterinary team. Due to this model, you'll have the opportunity to see exciting ER cases and a chance to snuggle puppies and kittens! This is ideal for an Emergency Veterinarian seeking a sustainable ER schedule, advanced medical resources, and a supportive hospital culture.
Emergency Veterinarian Compensation & Benefits
Compensation
- Base salary: $120,000–$160,000 + production (no negative accrual)
- Up to $50,000 sign-on bonus for experienced ER veterinarians
- Up to $10,000 relocation assistance

Emergency Veterinarian Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree
- Tennessee veterinary license preferred (licensure transfer assistance provided)
- Experience in emergency medicine, urgent care, and surgery
- Strong communication and client service skills
- Team-oriented mindset with a passion for high-quality veterinary medicine
