If you have experience in extrusion manufacturing (plastic extrusion, wire & cable extrusion, profile extrusion, tubing extrusion, or related continuous-process production), we definitely want to hear from you. In this role, you will operate production equipment, support manufacturing processes, and ensure product quality in a clean, safety‑focused environment. Why You’ll Love Working Here Competitive Pay – Earn $24–$26/hr plus a $2.00/hr night shift premium Work‑Life Balance – 12‑hour 2‑3‑2 schedule gives you 14+ days off per month Paid Training Program – 8–12 weeks of on‑the‑job, hands‑on instruction Strong Benefits – Medical, dental, vision, PTO, paid holidays Future‑Ready Perks – 401(k) with company match, tuition reimbursement, volunteer time off Career Advancement – Clear pathways to grow within manufacturing, production, and technical roles Responsibilities What You’ll Do As an Operator, you’ll play a key role in producing high-quality cable products by: Operate manufacturing machinery safely and efficiently Monitor and adjust process settings (speed, temperature, tension, material feed) to support stable extrusion line performance Assist with start-ups, changeovers, and material changes (resin/compound) to meet production schedules Perform in-process measurements and visual inspections; identify common extrusion defects (diameter/OD, surface marks, gels, voids) and escalate as needed Perform quality checks and follow standard work instructions Troubleshoot basic machine issues and report equipment concerns Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Achieve production targets and support team goals Accurately complete production documentation and system entries Qualifications What We’re Looking For High School Diploma or GED required Basic math and computer skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Prior manufacturing or machine operator experience preferred, but not required—training provided Prior extrusion experience highly preferred Education & Experience Work Environment/Physical Demands: Work performed primarily on the manufacturing floor; noise levels may be moderate to high; PPE required Approximately 80% hands‑on production work and 20% clerical tasks Regular lifting up to 30 lbs; occasional lifting up to 45 lbs Exposure to varying temperatures May require standing or sitting for prolonged periods Occasional climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, and coordinated hand/foot movements What We Offer Ready to build something that matters?
