About the role
This role is with Anglicare Op Shops, part of our Community & Mission team leading the performance and operations of a cluster of shops while contributing to Anglicare’s broader community impact.
You will oversee approximately six Op Shops, including managing your own home store, ensuring strong commercial outcomes, operational excellence, and an engaging customer and volunteer experience.
Play a key role in driving sales performance and operational consistency across a cluster of Op Shops
Lead, coach, and develop Shop Managers and teams to achieve strong commercial and service outcomes
Combine hands-on retail leadership with multi-site coaching and performance management
Contribute to the sustainability of Anglicare’s retail network and its mission to support people in need
Key responsibilities include:
Managing a home shop to deliver strong sales, customer service, and operational performance
Coaching and supporting Shop Managers across the cluster through regular site visits
Driving sales, pricing consistency, and commercial performance across all stores
Ensuring high standards of visual merchandising, store presentation, and stock flow
Championing excellent customer service and consistent service delivery across teams
Monitoring performance data and implementing improvement strategies across the cluster
Ensuring safety, compliance, and operational standards are maintained at all times
Supporting the integration and success of the Volunteer Day Leader program
Communicating effectively with stakeholders and contributing to network-wide initiatives
Supporting new shop openings and ongoing network growth
About you
Demonstrated experience in retail leadership, ideally across multi-site or high-volume environments
Strong coaching and team development capability, with experience mentoring leaders
Proven ability to drive sales, manage budgets, and achieve commercial targets
Solid understanding of pricing, stock management, and visual merchandising principles
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Experience working with data and performance metrics to inform decision-making
Strong organisational skills with the ability to balance multiple priorities
Understanding of WHS requirements in a retail environment
Alignment with Anglicare’s mission and values and passion for community impact
Current NSW Driver’s Licence
