The Opportunity:
Reporting to the Supervisor Operational Technology, the Communications Technician will play a hands-on role maintaining and improving the reliability of our communications systems. This new role offers the opportunity to take ownership of key infrastructure while gaining exposure to advanced mining technologies.

Skills & Qualifications
- Current manual driver’s licence.
- Hold a trade qualification in Communications or equivalent (essential)
- Experience working with wireless networks, digital two-way systems, or leaky feeder infrastructure.
- Possess ACMA Open Cabling Registration, with endorsements in optical fibre and structured cabling considered desirable.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills, particularly in configuring hardware and networks
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, combined with a collaborative approach to support success in this role.
About the Role
- Installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting leaky feeder, Wireless backhaul, and CCTV systems, VHF DMR System
- Ensuring reliable connectivity to support safety, operations..
- Supporting system upgrades, configuration, and integration of new technologies.
- Committing to maintaining health, safety, and security standards and principles within the workplace.
- Work within the Technology Teams to Provide assistance with Truck Communications installations
