Job Description
About us
Dyson is a global technology company. We solve problems others choose to ignore with pioneering technology that works better. Our E‑Commerce team sits at the centre of our direct-to-consumer strategy—owning the digital experience, driving performance, and delivering sustainable commercial growth.
About the role
As our Senior E‑Commerce Trading Manager you will own end-to-end trading performance across our e-commerce channels, driving SKU-level planning, forecasting, and execution to deliver against ambitious commercial targets while leading a high-performing team.
You will:
- Lead SKU-level demand forecasting and sales planning, ensuring alignment with inventory, market dynamics, and commercial objectives
- Own inputs into Integrated Business Planning (IBP), building accurate forecasts, defining assumptions, and clearly articulating risks and opportunities
- Take ownership of the full e-commerce performance equation—sessions, conversion rate, AOV, and revenue—aligning closely with media plans and peak trading events
- Monitor performance daily and weekly, identifying risks and opportunities early and driving corrective actions across pricing, promotions, assortment, and media
- Define and execute pricing and promotional strategies to maximise revenue, margin, and conversion while protecting long-term brand integrity
- Own Performance Marketing, CRM, and Affiliate channels end-to-end, managing agencies, budgets, and ongoing optimisation against KPIs
- Develop and execute channel growth roadmaps, identifying new opportunities in audience targeting, activation, and efficiency
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team, building capability in data analysis, trading execution, and channel management
About you
- At least six years’ experience in e-commerce, trading, or commercial planning roles
- Strong understanding of the e-commerce funnel, including sessions, conversion rate, and AOV, and how media drives performance
- Experience managing Performance Marketing, CRM, and Affiliate channels
- Strong commercial judgement with expertise in pricing and promotional strategy
- Highly data-driven, with advanced analytical capability (e.g. Excel, Power BI)
- Experience working within IBP or similar planning frameworks
- Proven leadership experience with a track record of developing high-performing teams
- Strong stakeholder management across marketing, finance, and supply chain
