We are looking for a detail-oriented professional who shares our values to join our team as a Senior Accounts Officer. The ideal candidate will support the accountant in administering the company’s financial and management accounting systems and maintaining effective internal controls across the organization. This includes ensuring that financial policies, procedures, and objectives are consistently adhered to, that systems operate efficiently and effectively, and that they remain aligned with the policies, procedures, and objectives of the Group. The role also involves assisting the accountant in reviewing the work of the Accounts Clerk.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist in administering the company’s financial and management accounting systems.
Assist in the maintenance of the daily cash position.
Conduct cash compliance checks to ensure adherence to established policies and procedures.
Maintenance of Fixed Asset Register (FAR) and Balance Sheet Codes.
Provide support with audits functions for the Company.
REQUIREMENTS
An Associate Degree in Business or a related field, with at least three (3) years’ experience in a computerized accounting environment or;
Currently pursuing ACCA, or another recognized accounting qualification, having completed at least level one, with a minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a computerized accounting environment.
Excellent written and oral communication.
Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
