- Shipping and receiving:
- Using external and internal customer scheduling, communicate and work to daily and weekly plans for shipping to customers and suppliers.
- Ensure proper packing of parts being shipped.
- Prepare required shipping forms, assemble boxes, create packing and/or part labels, pack cartons, and adhere packing slips/labels to cartons.
- Communicate with authorized freight companies to arrange the pick-up of shipments.
- Maintain inventory and order materials needed for the shipping area.
- Receive all material and deliveries; check deliveries for damage before signing receipt of goods.
- Verify merchandise received against the packing slip and purchase order.
- Deliver items to the appropriate personnel.
- Perform other duties as necessary.
- Operations: Execute on production plans made by the planning group:
- Create and execute purchase orders for raw material and subcontract services.
- Release material to the shop.
- Maintain accurate inventory counts.
- General

- High School diploma or GED equivalent.
- 1 to 2 years’ experience in an office or shop environment preferred.
- Good math skills.
- Able to handle multiple tasks; attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and organization skills.
- Intermediate understanding of MS Office: Outlook, Word, Excel and Epicor.
- Must possess valid driver’s license from his/her state of residence; forklift certifiable.
- Requires occasional lifting and carrying of 50 lbs. or more and standing for extended periods of time.
- Moderate physical activity requiring agility and manual dexterity, including walking, standing, or bending as well as lifting or moving objects.
