Your new role
As a Market Access and Public Affairs Intern, you will gain hands-on exposure to how market access strategy, healthcare policy and stakeholder engagement come together to expand patient access to Novo Nordisk products. It's a unique opportunity to learn from experienced professionals while contributing to projects that have a real impact on patients' lives.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the development and execution of market access strategies that improve patient access to Novo Nordisk products
- Conducting research and analysis on healthcare policy, reimbursement landscape and the broader public affairs environment in Indonesia
- Assisting in stakeholder mapping and engagement activities with government bodies, payers, healthcare professionals and patient advocacy groups
- Helping to prepare value propositions, presentations and policy briefs for internal and external audiences
- Collaborating cross-functionally with Commercial, Medical and Customer Engagement teams to align on access strategy and implementation
Internship duration: 3 August 2026 – 5 February 2027 based in Jakarta. Internship allowance provided.

The Market access and Public Affairs Intern will be based in our Market Access and Public Affairs (MAPA) department in Jakarta, Indonesia. Your skills & qualifications
We are looking for a proactive and creative individual who is eager to learn how market access and public affairs shape patient outcomes in healthcare. You will bring with you:
- Recently graduated from a bachelor's or master's degree programme – preferably in pharmacy, public health, health economics, public policy, political science, or a related science or business field
- Genuine interest in healthcare policy, market access, patient advocacy and the broader public affairs landscape
- Strong analytical and research skills, with the ability to synthesise information from multiple sources into clear insights and recommendations
- Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience working cross-functionally or leading a team, ideally during your studies or through extracurricular activities
