
Business Development Executive (Metal & Mineral)
Job Description
Responsibilities (Obligation to ensure that the action is taken):
- Identify Growth Opportunities: Develop strategies to identify new business opportunities within the natural resources sector (covering agricultural, fertiliser and mining analysis) focusing on testing, inspection, and analysis services.
- Client Relationship Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients, industry leaders, and decision-makers.
- Sales and Revenue Growth: Drive business development efforts to meet and exceed revenue targets through new client acquisition and growth of existing accounts.
- Market Research & Analysis: Conduct detailed market research to understand industry trends, customer requirements, and competitor activities.
- Overall responsibility for the marketing and business development strategy for Metal & Mineral division of CTD Indonesia.
- Improvise and monitor operating profit for Metal & Mineral division, take proactive decision when necessary.
- Coordination with Operational Management to formulate a sales and marketing strategy for each CTD Indonesia office.
- Key contact with major customers to increase sales and market share with those key customers.
- Analysis of the market to identify trends, opportunities and threats – communication of those opportunities to Operations and Management.
- Be responsible for sales increase in Metal & Mineral division.
- Identify business opportunities for profitable growth in Indonesia.
- Be responsible for the coordination and submission of Local Rates and for Indonesia clients as well participate in Regional / Global rate submissions.
- Assist with the recovery of debts as and when required.
- Responsible for athe achievement of the budgeted Metal & Mineral revenue nationwide.
- To assist all Metal & Mineral branches to develop their local business, mmarketing, and revenues.
- To assist, attend and solve all Metal & Mineral customers’ complaints and problem.
- To train and evaluate Metal & Mineral staff’s knowledge/skill from time to time.
- To ensure adequate manpower, equipment and supplies for Metal & Mineral division.
- To provide Metal & Mineral Monthly Report to CTD Indonesia / Regional Director.
- Operate the Company’s Business Management System and HSE system on an ongoing basis.
- To manage / direct reporting for N-1 (Key Agri personnel) at individual branch.
- Key focal person for Metal & Mineral business Indonesia and be involved in regional discussion /meeting when required.
- To perform any other related duties that the Company may assign from time to time.
Requirements:
- Possess at least a bachelor's degree and above
- Minimum 5 years of experience in similar role in Metal & Mineral field
- Required language(s): must be fluent in English
- Works well under pressure, challenges status quo
- Able to plan, organize and implement a range of business development promotion programs and events
- Strong communication skill
