In Finance, you will have the opportunity to grow your career in different functional groups such as Accounts Payable, Midstream Accounting, Bank, Revenue and Retail, Credits and Receivables, Intercompany, Financial Accounting and Reporting, Upstream Accounting and Business Analysis and Support.

This position reports to the Intercompany Finance Manager in GBS Manila. This is a supervisory position that requires excellent leadership, business acumen, communication, teamwork, analytical skills, and demonstration of consistent WE LEAD behaviors.

Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:

• Planning, leading and oversight of work group activities

• Oversight and execution of the following processes:

• Recording and analysis of investing and financing activities such as initial capitalization, additional capital contributions, organizational sale, restructuring and dissolution, dividend declarations, loan drawdown and prepayments.

• Month End Close

• Reconciliation and analysis of all Intercompany loans, investments and capital accounts of handled consolidated Chevron companies.

• Reporting which includes Accounts Reconciliation Reporting, Variance Analysis, Statement of Affiliates and other reporting as required by the customers.

Additional Job Description

• Maintains Service Level Agreements for the work group. 

• Participates as a member of the Intercompany Leadership Team and the GBS Manila Extended Leadership team.

• Engagement and close collaboration with business unit on process, business changes and issue resolution; participate in the leadership meetings with the business unit.

• Builds and maintains a skilled, committed and high-performing work team, through consistent demonstration of the 5 leadership behaviors and We Lead expectations.

• Initiates, leads and participates in process improvement efforts. 

• Provides advice and guidance to customers, employees, and management within areas of functional responsibility.

• Ensures that the work group meets all aspects of Corporate Compliance functions including but not limited to Internal Controls, Information Protection, Conflict of Interest, and Environmental, Fire, Safety, and Health.  Within areas of responsibility, maintains a sound system of internal controls and ensures that processes, procedures, and controls are in place to maintain accounting records that comply with GAAP, regulatory requirements, and Chevron’s accounting policies.

• Manage and ensure appropriate coverage and readiness of resources during a local and regional outage / business continuity event.

• Leads special projects and other initiatives and activities as assigned.
