Maintenance Technician 1 - 2795
Applies electrical and mechanical skills to ensure production goals are met.
Job Duties
Provide basic technical assistance and resolution when electrical or engineering problems are encountered before, during and after construction.
Will work with team to trouble shoot mechanical and basic electrical problems.
Will work with fabrication and project crew when needed.
Will wire and trouble shoot single phase as well as 3 phase power supplies and motors.
Will be responsible for helping in all facility and building maintenance.
Will work with the PM crew if needed.
Will conduct daily oil and lube checks on machinery as needed.
Will work with senior techs daily to learn and understand more complex electrical issues.
Complete all necessary documents fully and accurately.
Adhere to 5S standards (e.g., maintain cleanliness of work area, etc.)
Follow all Safety, Environmental and Quality policies and procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Will work scheduled overtime as needed.
Experience and Education
Perform work under direct supervision.
Handle basic issues and problems and refer more complex issues to higher-level staff.
Possess beginning to work knowledge of subject matter.
Typically require accreditation from a technical school or an applicable skilled trades program or 2+ years of experience.

Ability to interpret work instructions.
Ability to follow written and verbal directions.
Intermediate verbal and written communication skills.
Technical and Mechanical Knowledge.
Record keeping on work order system (computer skills)
Ability to work safely with others as well as alone.
